Peace Reopening Phase 1

Dear Peace Family,
Our Church Council has approved a reopening strategy for our church facility.  On October 4th we will begin Phase 1, as we welcome live attendees to our 10:30 a.m. Facebook live worship service.  Safety remains our top priority as we continue the work of keeping our church community connected with one another during this time. This will be a new experience for all of us, as ‘coming to church’ in this capacity will look different than what we are used to.  It is important for us to faithfully do ministry in a world of social distancing while maintaining a virtual church option for those who can’t attend in person.  Here are the main components of Phase 1:
      • Pre-reservations for seats will be required and made available through our website (watch for this link coming soon)
      • Seating will accommodate for social distancing.
      • Masks will be worn at all times by everyone within the church building.
      • Nursery and childcare will not be provided.
      • There will be no paper handouts, shaking of hands or hugging, congregational singing, passing of offering plates, or sharing in communion.
      • Temperature checks will be done upon arrival.
Let’s continue to pray for those who are unable to be present at worship in person, as we look for ways to embrace and serve those who are part of the ‘high risk’ group.  Safety and faithfulness is what drives our intentions within all of these critical decisions.  We look forward to all that God has in store for us beginning on October 4th, as together we Come Find Peace online and in person.
